who are we ?

run by Véronique de Luna    site en français

The shop cum needlepoint school is located in the heart of Paris, 15bis rue de la Glacière, Paris 13e, a fifteen minute walk away from the Manufacture des Gobelins.

There you will find all you need for the practice of needlepoint tapestry, frames, looms, Aubusson-Felletin fine wools®.

And our specialty hand painted canvases, either kitted or customized for your furniture.

We display the history of tapestry as a decorative art, from the Vth century, with coptic motifs, to our days with creations of Hervé Lelong and other contemporary artists.

The school aims at transmitting and preserving an age old technique to ensure its survival.
You can learn needlepoint tapestry from scratch. Veronique has been teaching for 25 years, and thousands of students have learnt with her all the niceties of this beautiful technique.

From the very basics that you learn in two hours to « évasions-tapisserie », week long sessions, in various parts of France, you can choose your level. Teaching in French or English.

The workshop is in Aubusson, France's capital of tapestry since the Midle Ages, midway between Limoges (chinaware) and Clermont-Ferrand (Michelin tyres), 300 miles south of Paris.

It is open in the summer. You can also visit the Jean Lurçat Museum, the Weaver's House, Chantal Chirac's workshop where she restores tapestry cartoons, old factories as well as many other sites and shops.

In Felletin, a few miles away, our Aubusson-Felletin fine wools® are spun and dyed..

The publishing house, Point-contrepoint, established by Véronique de Luna in 2002,and whose office is in Aubusson, specializes in needlepoint.
